Hello Everyone,
The 2010 year is here. The past 2009 was very successful for Brosix as the number of users tripled in one year. Now we are looking forward for the new 2010 and I wanted to share with you some of or plans.
With this message I want to let you know what is comming with Brosix in the next weeks and months.
First of all as you know we are working on a new version called Brosix 3.
Last year we released Beta 1 of Brosix 3 - the new version of our Instant Messenger and collaboration tool. There are several new things with this version, that are described in more details here.
The most important are the new platforms supported (Mac and Linux) and the new user interface. The new user interface is nicer and supports themes and languages. We are looking for volunteers to help us translate Brosix to many languages. We are willing to pay for the translations, so if you would like to earn some money, contact us. There are some improvements in the features and we also added a support for groups in the contact lists. You can control groups on two levels - every user can group his contacts or the IM network administrator can set user groups. This will allow you to group your users in departments, office locations etc.
In the next weeks we will release Beta 2 and then will completely remove Brosix 2 and substitute it with Brosix 3. This will allow us to give you Brosix on more platforms. We will start with Windows, Linux and Mac. Then we will continue with mobile devices. This will allow you to be more connected with your colleagues and friends.
While expanding on more platforms we will also work on adding new features and improving the already existing ones.
When Beta 2 is announced, please download and review it. We value your feed-back and would like to hear from you.
